ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new imaging technique called 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT to help diagnose and assess myositis, a condition that causes muscle inflammation. The researchers want to see how well this method works compared to another imaging technique known as 18F-FDG PET/CT. Myositis can sometimes affect other parts of the body, and this study aims to improve how doctors understand and evaluate the extent of the disease.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult aged between 18 and 75 years who has been diagnosed with myositis based on specific medical guidelines. Participants will undergo both imaging tests within two weeks to compare their results. It’s important to note that women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as those with certain medical conditions or allergies to the imaging agent, are not eligible to join. If you decide to participate, you will be contributing to valuable research that could enhance the understanding and treatment of myositis.
