ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how working closely together can improve the childbirth experience for women and midwives. It aims to explore the benefits of a partnership model where midwives provide continuous support to pregnant women during labor. Research suggests that having consistent midwifery care can lead to better outcomes for both mothers and babies, but there hasn’t been much study on how cooperation between midwives and pregnant women affects their satisfaction during childbirth. This trial intends to fill that gap by focusing on how this teamwork can make the birthing process better.
To take part in the study, women must be between 18 and 35 years old, already in labor and hospitalized, and expecting a single, healthy baby. They should be in the active phase of labor, meaning their cervix has started to open (at least 4 cm), and they should not have any complications that could impact the delivery. Participants will receive continuous support from midwives trained in this cooperative care model, which is expected to enhance their overall childbirth experience. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it’s an opportunity for women to contribute to important research that could improve future maternity care.
