ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to access blood vessels in the abdomen and pelvis using a method called radial access, which involves using the wrist instead of the groin. The main goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective for patients needing certain types of vascular interventions, which are procedures that help with blood flow problems. The researchers also want to find out if it’s safe to do this procedure more than once for patients who need it.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be at least 18 years old and need a specific type of procedure in the abdomen or pelvis. They should have a healthy radial artery (the artery in the wrist) that is wide enough and should not have any infections or issues at the site where the procedure would be done. Participants will receive care and monitoring throughout the trial, and their involvement will help researchers understand if this new method can improve patient outcomes. It's important to note that certain health conditions may exclude someone from participating, and all participants or their family members must agree to join and provide consent.
