ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods of creating temporary dental restorations for patients who have lost all their teeth (edentulous) and are receiving implants. Specifically, it compares restorations made using CAD/CAM milling (a computer-controlled process) and those made through 3D printing. The goal is to see if there are any differences in how well these materials hold up over time and how they look, such as their color and durability.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and generally healthy. You'll be part of a treatment plan that involves getting a full set of implants for your upper or lower jaw. If you're accepted, you’ll receive either the milled or printed restoration and will use it for three months while going about your daily life. The researchers will monitor how the materials perform, looking for issues like breakage or changes in color. It’s important to note that individuals with certain health issues, heavy smoking habits, or severe teeth grinding may not be eligible for this study.
