ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding sexual dysfunction in men. Sexual dysfunction can affect a man's desire for sex, ability to become aroused, and ability to orgasm, among other aspects. The study aims to translate and validate a questionnaire called the Brief Index of Sexual Functioning for Men into French. This questionnaire is important because it helps measure different areas of male sexuality, such as desire, arousal, and relationship satisfaction. Currently, there is no comprehensive tool available in French that addresses all these aspects, even though a similar tool exists for women.
To participate in this trial, men aged between 36 and 74 who are experiencing sexual dysfunction are eligible. However, those who do not wish to take part, have trouble understanding French, or fall under certain legal protections cannot participate. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, those who take part can expect to fill out the questionnaire to help researchers better understand male sexual health and develop more effective support for men facing these challenges.
