ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new approach to help people who suffer from tension-type headaches, which often start in the neck and can feel like a heavy pressure or tightness in the head. The researchers want to see if a technique called the fascial distortion model can reduce headache pain, improve neck posture, and help people better sense the position of their neck joints. This method is different from the manual treatments that have been used in the past.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be between 20 and 50 years old and have been experiencing tension-type headaches for at least six months, with a pain level of at least 4 out of 10. However, those with certain conditions, such as migraines, sinusitis, or previous neck surgeries, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to undergo assessments related to their headaches and receive treatment through this new model. The trial is currently looking for volunteers, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be a great opportunity to explore new ways to manage headache pain.
