ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how Bioptron light therapy can help relieve dry eye symptoms in postmenopausal women. Dry eye disease can make it uncomfortable to see and can affect daily life, especially in women going through menopause or who are postmenopausal. The therapy aims to improve eye moisture and comfort by enhancing circulation and reducing inflammation around the eyes.
To participate in this trial, women need to be over 50 years old and postmenopausal, meaning they have not had a menstrual period for at least a year. They must not be receiving any other treatments for dry eyes or have certain eye conditions or autoimmune diseases. Participants can expect to receive Bioptron light therapy and will be monitored for improvements in their dry eye symptoms. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it’s a good opportunity for eligible women who are looking for relief from dry eyes.
