ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping nurses who work night shifts improve their sleep health. Many nurses experience difficulties like insomnia due to their irregular work hours. The study aims to test two different behavioral strategies designed to help these nurses get better sleep. If you are a nurse currently working shifts in Oregon and struggle with insomnia, you may be eligible to participate in this study.
To join, you need to be actively working night shifts and have access to the internet on a device like a smartphone or computer. You should also be comfortable reading and writing in English. However, if you have serious medical conditions, certain ongoing treatments for insomnia, or if your work schedule does not involve shift work, you may not qualify. Participants can expect to try out the sleep strategies and provide feedback on how they help improve sleep quality. This study is important because it seeks to find effective ways to support the sleep needs of nurses, ensuring they can take care of themselves while caring for others.
