ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a test called the Vibration Induced Nystagmus Test, which looks at how certain vibrations affect balance and eye movement in people with specific inner ear disorders. The main goal is to see how well this test works for patients with conditions like Superior Canal Dehiscence Syndrome (SCDS) and other vestibular disorders compared to healthy individuals.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with a vestibular disorder, specifically SCDS or Meniere's disease, you may be eligible to participate. The trial is open to individuals aged 65 to 74 and 29 to 219, regardless of gender. Participants will undergo a series of tests that include using a special device to deliver vibrations to the head to see how their body responds. This research could help improve diagnosis and treatment for people with balance issues in the future.
