ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of a Botox injection in the bladder compared to a combination of two medications, Mirabegron and Solifenacin, for women who have a condition called detrusor overactivity. This condition means that the bladder muscles contract involuntarily, which can lead to a frequent and urgent need to urinate. The trial is looking for women who have not had success with standard single treatments for this issue.

To participate in this study, applicants must have experienced involuntary bladder contractions and should not have had success with either of the medications used alone. However, those who retain urine after urination will not be eligible to join. If you qualify and agree to participate, you will receive either the Botox injection or the combination of medications to see which treatment works best for you. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to find more effective treatment options for women suffering from this condition.
