ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Memory and Scoliosis Spinal Exercises," is looking at how spinal exercises may affect the memory of adolescents who have a condition called Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, which is a common form of scoliosis that happens in young people. The study involves asking participants to fill out a short questionnaire about their experiences and health-related quality of life. The goal is to understand if there is a connection between the exercises they do for their spine and their memory.
To participate, young individuals should be between 4 and 17 years old and must have been diagnosed with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis by a qualified doctor. They should also be able to read and understand Italian. Those who have other causes of scoliosis, leg-length differences greater than 1 cm, certain health issues, previous spine surgery, or cognitive impairments will not be eligible. If someone joins the study, they can expect to provide information through the questionnaire, which will help researchers learn more about how spinal exercises might influence memory in adolescents.
