ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how patients with certain types of cancer and their caregivers feel about consultations with pharmacists when using oral cancer medications. The goal is to make sure that patients understand how to use their medications safely, recognize side effects, and know who to contact if they have serious health concerns. By gathering the opinions of patients, the trial aims to improve the support they receive and help them take a more active role in their treatment decisions.
To participate in this study, patients should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have been diagnosed with lung, breast, prostate, or kidney cancer. They should also be taking oral cancer drugs and willing to engage in consultations with pharmacists at the hospital. If eligible, participants can expect to share their thoughts and preferences about their care, which could help shape future support for cancer patients and their caregivers.
