ClinConnect Summary

The RemoteVerify (RêVe) trial is studying how wireless monitoring can affect the health outcomes of patients with heart failure who have devices like pacemakers or defibrillators. The goal is to see if this technology can help prevent unexpected hospital visits and allow for earlier treatment when patients experience worsening symptoms. The study will also look at how satisfied participants feel about the remote monitoring system and how it influences their overall health over time.

To participate in this trial, patients need to be over 20 years old and have heart failure with a specific type of heart function (left ventricular ejection fraction of 40% or less). They must also be new to using remote monitoring technology. Unfortunately, those with a life expectancy of less than six months, or who have difficulty understanding the monitoring system, won't be eligible. If you choose to take part, you can expect to use wireless monitoring that helps your healthcare team keep a closer eye on your condition from a distance.
