ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a tool called the Tuune decision aid, which helps women make choices about birth control. The goal is to see if using this tool during appointments for contraceptive care can lead to better experiences for patients. Researchers want to find out if women feel more satisfied and positive about using contraception, stick to their prescribed birth control better, and experience fewer side effects compared to women who receive traditional counseling.
To participate in this study, women aged 18 to 62 who are seeking contraceptive counseling at Oklahoma State University OBGYN can apply. Participants must be native English speakers and should not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to get pregnant in the next year. If you join the trial, you’ll receive guidance on using the decision aid during your appointment, and researchers will track how it affects your satisfaction and outcomes with birth control. This trial is not yet recruiting, but it aims to provide valuable insights into improving contraceptive care for women.
