ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping patients who have been diagnosed with hepatitis C but have not received treatment. The goal is to understand why some patients have stopped following up with their healthcare providers after receiving a positive test result for hepatitis C. By reconnecting these patients to care, the study hopes to improve their health outcomes and provide better support for those affected by this virus.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have a positive hepatitis C test result from 2012 to 2022. However, those who have tested positive but do not have the virus in their blood, or who have already been cured of the virus, will not be included. Participants can expect to be approached by healthcare professionals who will guide them back into care and provide information about their treatment options. This is a crucial opportunity for individuals to get the help they need and improve their overall health.
