Adolescents Young Adults Writing Intervention Interview

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how creative writing activities can help teenagers and young adults with cancer. Researchers at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital want to find out if these young patients would be interested in participating in writing exercises and if they believe these activities can improve their well-being during their treatment. The goal is to understand whether this type of writing program is something that could be valuable for them.

To be eligible for the study, participants should be between 15 and 25 years old and currently receiving treatment for cancer at St. Jude. Parents of patients who have passed away from cancer may also participate if their child was part of a previous study. Those who join the trial can expect to engage in writing exercises that allow them to express their thoughts and feelings about their experiences with cancer. This study is currently open for recruitment, and participants will help researchers learn more about the benefits of writing as a supportive tool for young people facing cancer.
