ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of non-surgical treatments for urinary incontinence in women. Urinary incontinence is when a person has difficulty controlling their bladder, leading to accidental leaks. The researchers want to understand how these treatments help improve symptoms and the overall quality of life for women dealing with this issue. They will gather information through various methods, including personal reports from participants about their symptoms, keeping a diary of bladder habits, and specific tests to measure bladder function.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adult women who have been diagnosed with urinary incontinence at Mackay Memorial Hospital and have received non-surgical treatment. Women who have had surgical procedures, are pregnant, or cannot commit to regular follow-ups for at least a year will not be able to join the study. If you participate, you can expect to share your experiences and undergo some assessments to help the researchers learn more about how effective these treatments are. This research could lead to better care for women experiencing urinary incontinence in the future.
