ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of meals, specifically those with varying amounts of fats and carbohydrates, affect how our bodies process food after eating. Researchers want to understand how the composition of these meals influences things like blood sugar levels and how quickly food leaves the stomach. They will be studying healthy adults to see how different meal types impact their metabolism and digestion.
To participate in this study, you need to be a healthy adult between the ages of 18 and 65, with a normal body weight and good blood sugar levels. Unfortunately, if you have certain health conditions, like diabetes or heart disease, or if you take medications that affect how your body processes fats and sugars, you won’t be eligible. Participants can expect to eat meals with different compositions during the trial, and their responses will be closely monitored. It's a great opportunity to contribute to our understanding of nutrition and its effects on health!
