ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving exclusive breastfeeding rates in Panama, where many new mothers face challenges in breastfeeding their babies. The study aims to create and test an educational program using a web-based platform called AmiHealth. This program will offer helpful videos and information about breastfeeding techniques that mothers can access anytime, making it easier for them to exclusively breastfeed their infants for the first six months.
To participate in this trial, mothers must be in their first pregnancy and in their third trimester. Unfortunately, those expecting twins or having other complications, such as fetal defects, won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive valuable guidance and support to help you breastfeed successfully. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide important resources that can benefit both mothers and their babies.
