ClinConnect Summary
The SELECT Trial is studying a new type of treatment for patients who have ulnar neuropathy at the elbow, a condition that can cause pain, numbness, or weakness in the arm and hand. This trial will test a special device that delivers electrical stimulation to the nerve to see if it can help patients recover better after a common surgery called cubital tunnel release. The researchers are currently looking for participants aged 65 to 74 or 29 to 219, who have this specific nerve issue but do not have other nerve problems or any implanted medical devices.
If you join the trial, you will receive the electrical stimulation treatment and be monitored by the study team to see how well it works for you. This is an important step in finding out whether this new therapy can improve recovery for people with ulnar neuropathy. Your involvement could help researchers gather valuable information that may benefit others in the future.
