ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how well an artificial intelligence (AI) program can diagnose different retinal diseases using real-world data. Essentially, researchers want to see if this AI can accurately identify problems with the eye that may affect vision. They will measure the AI’s effectiveness by looking at how often it correctly diagnoses conditions, as well as how often it misses or misidentifies issues.
If you or a family member are between the ages of 1 to 100 years old and have had a specific type of eye photograph taken (that shows important parts of the eye), you might be eligible to participate. To join, participants need to have complete information available for a proper diagnosis. However, if there isn’t enough information in the eye images, they may not be able to take part. Those who join the trial can expect to help test this new technology, contributing to advancements in eye health care. This study is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome regardless of gender.
