ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how body weight changes among men who are newly incarcerated in prisons in Martinique. Researchers want to see if these men gain or lose weight during their first three months in jail and what factors might be related to these changes. They will also study things like how much physical activity the men do, what they eat, and their mental health to understand better why their weight might change.
To be part of this study, participants must be men aged between 18 and 44 who are newly admitted to the prison and can understand French or English. Those who join can expect to share information about their weight, daily activities, diet, and feelings during the trial. This research is important because it may help improve the health and well-being of prisoners by identifying factors that influence weight changes while they are incarcerated.
