ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called CLIF Correction VS. Conventional Correction Strategy for ASD, is looking at a new surgical technique for treating spinal deformities, specifically Adult Spinal Deformity (ASD). The goal is to see how this new method, known as CLIF correction, compares to traditional surgical approaches. Researchers will be studying how well each technique works, the results after surgery, and any complications that might occur. They will follow participants for two years to gather more information on how effective the CLIF correction is over time.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be adults aged between 40 and 80 years who have been diagnosed with a specific type of spinal deformity and have not found relief from other treatments. However, those with certain conditions, such as severe osteoporosis or previous spinal surgery, may not be eligible. Although the trial is not yet recruiting participants, it aims to provide valuable insights into which surgical method might be better for treating spinal deformities. If you or someone you know is considering surgery for spinal issues, this trial could be an important step in understanding the best options available.
