ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how artificial intelligence (AI) can help doctors learn to diagnose thyroid nodules using a special type of ultrasound called contrast-enhanced ultrasound. The researchers want to find out if AI can make it easier and faster for doctors to become skilled at using this imaging technique. They will compare how many cases and how much time it takes for doctors to learn this process with and without the help of AI.
To participate in this trial, patients need to have thyroid nodules that are at least 5 mm in size and have already been checked with a standard ultrasound. Participants will undergo a contrast-enhanced ultrasound and a procedure to collect a sample from the thyroid nodule. If you're interested, it's important to know that the trial is currently recruiting patients aged 65 to 74, and they are looking for individuals who have clear ultrasound images. Overall, this study aims to improve the way doctors diagnose thyroid nodules, which could lead to better care for patients.
