ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying two different materials used for filling root canals in teeth that have an infection. The researchers want to compare a new material called Ortho MTA (BioMTA®) cement, which can be used on its own, with a more traditional method that uses gutta-percha along with a bioceramic sealer (AH Plus® Bioceramic Sealer). The goal is to see which option leads to better healing of the affected teeth.

To participate in this trial, individuals must be between 21 and 95 years old and generally healthy. They should have a tooth that needs root canal treatment and shows signs of infection. However, pregnant women, those with certain health issues like autoimmune diseases, and patients with severely damaged teeth are not eligible. Participants will undergo the root canal treatment with one of the two materials and will be monitored for their healing progress. This study is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could help improve dental treatments in the future.
