ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a condition that causes prolonged and severe pain, often in an arm or leg. Researchers want to learn more about the specific biological markers, or "molecular signatures," associated with different types of CRPS. By understanding these signatures, they hope to improve diagnosis and treatment for patients with this condition.
To participate in the study, individuals must be between 19 and 80 years old and meet certain criteria related to their symptoms. This includes having specific changes in sensation and blood flow. Participants will undergo a skin biopsy, a simple procedure where a small piece of skin is taken for testing. The study is currently recruiting and welcomes anyone who is interested and meets the eligibility requirements. If you're considering joining this trial, you'll be contributing to important research that could benefit many others with CRPS.
