ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two types of healing abutments used in dental implants: one made from a material called PEEK and the other made from traditional titanium. The goal is to see if the PEEK abutments are better for the gums around the implants, particularly in terms of reducing plaque buildup and helping the healing process. Researchers hope that using PEEK may lead to healthier gums after getting a dental implant.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be between 20 and 50 years old, have a missing tooth in the front part of the mouth (the aesthetic zone), and have good dental health. This means they should have enough bone and gum tissue to support the implant without needing extra procedures. Participants can expect to be part of a study that may help improve dental implant outcomes for future patients. It’s important to note that individuals with poor oral hygiene, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and smokers cannot participate in the trial.
