ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how well artificial intelligence (AI) can help detect polyps in the right side of the colon during a procedure called colonoscopy. A colonoscopy is an important test that allows doctors to look inside the colon for any abnormal growths, such as polyps, which can sometimes be missed, especially on the right side. The researchers want to see if using AI can improve the detection of these polyps, especially when different doctors with varying levels of experience perform the procedure.

To participate in this trial, you need to be between 40 and 80 years old. Unfortunately, people with certain medical histories, such as previous colon surgery (other than having your appendix removed), active bleeding, or specific bowel conditions, will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to have a colonoscopy where the doctors will use AI to help find any polyps. This research could lead to better detection methods, making colonoscopies more effective in the future.
