ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how pain, fear of movement, and stress levels are related in people with temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD), a condition that affects the jaw joint and surrounding muscles. Researchers want to understand these connections better to improve treatment options for those suffering from TMD. The study is currently looking for participants aged 18 to 65 who have been experiencing jaw pain or discomfort for at least three months and have been diagnosed with TMD by a dentist.
If you decide to participate, you'll undergo assessments to evaluate your pain, stress levels, and any fears related to movement. It's important to know that certain conditions, like cognitive issues or other serious health problems, may prevent you from joining the study. This trial aims to provide valuable insights into how TMD affects daily life and may ultimately help develop better management strategies for those affected by this condition.
