ClinConnect Summary
The Syn-Air-G project is a research study focused on understanding how indoor air pollutants, like allergens and microbes, affect the health and well-being of children, particularly those with asthma or allergies. As indoor air quality in schools continues to decline, this study aims to create a system that monitors various air pollutants and develops solutions, such as air purifiers, to improve the air children breathe.
To be eligible for this study, children must be in the CM1 grade at the start of the school year and attend a classroom selected for the project. Both the child and their caregivers need to agree to participate and be comfortable using an app to provide feedback throughout the study. Participants will help researchers learn more about the health impacts of air pollution and may benefit from insights and interventions designed to enhance air quality in their school environment. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it represents an important step toward better understanding and improving children's health in relation to indoor air quality.
