ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of a special exercise program called Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) compared to regular care for patients who have had total knee replacement surgery. The goal is to see how these treatments affect various factors like pain levels, ability to move, balance, and overall daily functioning. The study will involve volunteers who are at least 60 years old and have undergone knee surgery about six weeks prior. Participants will be monitored at the Fethiye State Hospital's Orthopedics and Traumatology outpatient clinic.
If you qualify for this study, you will have a chance to take part in two evaluations—one at six weeks after your surgery and another two months later. To be eligible, you should not have had previous knee surgeries or serious health problems that could interfere with the study. This research aims to help improve recovery processes for patients like you, so understanding how different exercise programs can aid in rehabilitation is very important.
