ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving the oral health of infants by using a program called strengthened anticipatory guidance (AG) within the MOH Malaysia Infant Oral Healthcare Programme. The goal is to see if this program can help prevent early childhood caries, which are cavities that can develop in young children. The trial will also look at how well primary caregivers, like parents, understand and practice good oral health care for their infants.
To participate in the trial, infants must be between 6 and 12 months old, and their caregivers need to be Malaysian citizens who can read and understand Bahasa Malaysia since all the information and questionnaires will be in that language. However, infants with certain health conditions, such as chronic diseases or special needs, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to learn more about infant oral health and receive guidance on how to care for their baby's teeth effectively. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to make a positive impact on the dental health of infants in Negeri Sembilan.
