ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of different training methods to help toddlers with motor disabilities improve their movement and social skills. The researchers want to find out how different levels of a special training program called ROC-Stand can impact these children's ability to look at things, interact with others, and participate in everyday activities. The study will involve 30 toddlers aged 1 to 3 years who have difficulty walking independently. They will be divided into three groups: one group will receive 2 hours of ROC-Stand training per session, another will receive 1 hour of ROC-Stand training, and the last group will receive 1 hour of traditional therapy.
To participate, children must be able to stand for a short time and reach for objects, but they cannot have severe sensory impairments or exceed certain height and weight limits. Families will be asked to commit to attending training sessions twice a week for a year. Throughout the study, researchers will assess the children's progress at different points to see how well they are improving. The results will help guide future training programs tailored to meet the needs of children and their families.
