ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how the strength and stability of certain trunk muscles relate to the explosive power of the upper body in volleyball players. The researchers want to understand how the muscles in the abdomen and lower back can affect a player's ability to perform powerful movements, like jumping and hitting the ball. To do this, they will work with 30 female volleyball players aged 14 to 30 who have been training regularly for at least a year. Participants will undergo tests that assess their muscle strength and endurance, using methods like ultrasound imaging and specific physical tests.
To be eligible for this study, players need to have a Body Mass Index (BMI) below 30 and must not have any serious medical conditions or recent injuries that could affect their ability to play. Participants should expect to contribute to our understanding of how muscle strength impacts performance in volleyball, while also receiving a thorough evaluation of their physical abilities. This trial is not yet recruiting, so interested players will need to wait for the study to begin before they can join.
