ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how pain from cervical spondylotic radiculopathy affects people's daily lives, including their ability to function and overall quality of life. Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is a condition where nerves in the neck get compressed, often due to age-related changes in the spine, leading to pain that can radiate down the arm, along with numbness and weakness. Researchers aim to understand the links between the pain experienced by patients, their physical limitations, and their overall well-being.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with certain types of spinal stenosis in the neck, with symptoms such as pain or weakness in one arm. However, those with severe neurological issues, certain spinal conditions, or recent neck surgeries are not eligible. Participants will be asked to complete assessments that will help researchers evaluate how their pain impacts their daily functions and quality of life. This study will also use a new scale designed to measure functional limitations caused by radicular pain, providing valuable insights into how this condition affects patients.
