ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a combination of action observation therapy and Otago exercises can improve balance and quality of life for older adults. Action observation therapy involves watching and learning from videos of exercises, while Otago exercises are specific movements designed to help strengthen balance. The goal is to see if this approach can help people who have experienced falls and struggle with balance.
To participate in this trial, you must be between 21 and 92 years old and have had at least one fall in the last six months. You should also have a specific score on the Berg Balance test, which measures your ability to maintain balance. However, if you have serious issues like problems with your vision or hearing, recent fractures, or certain health conditions such as heart disease or epilepsy, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to engage in exercises and watch instructional videos that may help improve your balance and overall well-being.
