ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective a special training program can be for patients who have undergone total knee replacement surgery, also known as knee arthroplasty. The program includes methods for managing pain, relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, massage, and tips to prevent falls. Patients will receive this training both in-person and through helpful video resources. The study will start with an evaluation on the first day after surgery and will continue with another check-up three months later to see how well the training helped.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be 50 years or older and scheduled for either one or both knees to be replaced. They will need to be able to communicate and understand the training provided. Unfortunately, individuals with certain health conditions, previous surgeries, or those who cannot sign the consent form will not be able to participate. If you join this study, you can expect to learn new ways to manage your recovery after knee surgery, which may help improve your overall comfort and safety as you heal.
