ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how patients feel about movement and their ability to function after having a specific knee surgery called medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction. The study focuses on patients who had this surgery at least two years ago and aims to understand if anxiety about movement, known as kinesiophobia, affects their recovery and daily activities.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to have had a unilateral MPFL reconstruction and be at least two years post-surgery. Those with certain knee or ankle injuries, arthritis, or neurological conditions will not be included. If you join the study, you can expect to share your experiences about your knee function and any fears related to movement. This research could help improve care for future patients by better understanding their recovery journey.
