ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to better understand myocarditis, which is an inflammation of the heart muscle. The researchers want to collect health information and biological samples from patients diagnosed with myocarditis to help create a model that can predict how well a patient might do after being diagnosed. This could help doctors provide better care and treatment options in the future.
To participate in this study, patients need to be diagnosed with myocarditis and regularly see their doctor at a cardiovascular center. Unfortunately, patients younger than 3 years old or older than 80 years, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, are not eligible. Additionally, anyone who cannot consent to participate due to medical reasons or who refuses to take part will not be included. If you qualify and choose to participate, you can expect to share your health information and provide samples that could play a key role in improving the understanding and treatment of myocarditis.
