ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is examining how well two different types of numbing treatments work for children undergoing dental injections. Researchers want to see if a spray called Ethyl Chloride (EC) can reduce pain during injections more effectively than a gel known as Benzocaine (BC). The study involves children aged 7 to 10 who need dental work and are attending the Pediatric Dentistry Department at Dubai Dental Hospital.
To participate, children must be healthy and not have had any previous experience with local anesthesia. They should also be comfortable enough to cooperate during the procedure. The trial is currently looking for participants, and those who join can expect to receive either the EC spray or the BC gel before their dental injection. The goal is to find out which option helps reduce pain better, making dental visits less stressful for kids.
