ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how common lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) are among children in primary school and how these symptoms might affect their experience at school. LUTS can include problems like frequent urination or wetting accidents, which can make school life challenging for kids. The study also wants to understand if children with neurodevelopmental disorders (like ADHD or autism) face even more difficulties in school because of these urinary symptoms. To gather information, the researchers will ask children, their parents, and their teachers to fill out questionnaires.
To participate in this study, children must be in 4th to 6th grade, along with their parents and teachers from grades 1 to 6. It’s important that they can speak and understand Dutch. However, children in high school, homeschooled, or those attending special education are not eligible for this study. If you or someone you know fits these criteria, participating in this study could help improve understanding of how urinary symptoms affect school life for children.
