ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of teaching Basic Life Support (BLS) skills to high school students in Hungary. The goal is to see how well these students learn BLS techniques, which are important for helping someone who has stopped breathing or whose heart has stopped beating. The study will compare two different teaching methods: one where the instructor gives feedback during practice and another that uses software to show how well students are performing chest compressions. By improving BLS training in schools, the hope is to increase the number of people who can help in emergencies outside of hospitals.
To participate in this study, students must be enrolled at Óbudai High School in Budapest and have permission from both themselves and their parents. Participants can expect to learn valuable lifesaving skills and will undergo training sessions that may include hands-on practice and feedback. It's important to note that students with any injuries or health issues that could affect their ability to learn or perform BLS skills will not be eligible to join the trial.
