ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Mystical Experience in Hypnosis," is exploring how hypnosis might help people have a mystical experience. A mystical experience is a unique feeling that can be very powerful, often described as feeling connected to nature or the universe, experiencing joy and peace, and losing track of time and self-identity. Researchers want to see if hypnosis can bring about this kind of experience, which is typically linked to practices like meditation or the use of certain drugs.
If you are at least 18 years old and can understand French, you might be eligible to participate in this study. However, people with a history of psychiatric or neurological disorders, those taking psychoactive medications, or those struggling with addiction or alcoholism cannot join. Participants can expect to engage in hypnosis sessions designed to explore these experiences safely. This study is currently looking for volunteers, so if you’re interested and meet the criteria, it could be a unique opportunity to learn more about the mind and its capabilities.
