ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a program that combines physical exercise and nutrition can help overweight and obese children who have functional gastrointestinal disorders. These disorders can cause tummy troubles that are not due to other diseases. The goal is to see if losing weight through lifestyle changes can improve their digestive health and overall well-being.
To participate, children need to be overweight or obese and taking part in a lifestyle modification program at a child sports and health center. However, children with other serious digestive conditions, like Celiac disease or inflammatory bowel disease, cannot join the study. If eligible, participants will be part of a supportive program that encourages healthier habits, and they may help contribute to important research that could benefit other children facing similar challenges.
