ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of certain lipids, which are fats that can influence the body's immune response, on special white blood cells called PBMCs (peripheral blood mononuclear cells) taken from healthy donors. Researchers want to learn how these lipids can affect inflammation by looking at how they change the expression of markers that indicate inflammation in the body. By doing this, they hope to understand the role these lipids play in immune responses better.
To participate in this trial, volunteers must be healthy adults aged 18 and older who can give informed consent and do not have any chronic inflammatory diseases or recent episodes of inflammation, like a cold or flu. If you meet these criteria, you can expect to provide a blood sample from which PBMCs will be isolated and tested with or without the lipids. It's important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so it will be a while before anyone can join.
