ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on finding kidney disease in children early by using urine tests and ultrasound scans. The goal is to help doctors prevent and treat kidney problems more effectively. The study involves about 10,000 children born in Jiangsu Province and Shanghai, and if any child has unusual results from the tests, they will be referred to the Children's Hospital of Fudan University for further checks and treatment.
To participate in this study, children must be newborns and will need to be followed up for at least three years. It’s open to all newborns, regardless of their health condition. Parents should know that participation involves simple urine tests and ultrasounds, which are safe and non-invasive. The information gathered from this study will help improve kidney health in children and create a system to predict the risk of kidney disease.
