ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new method of placing screws during spinal fusion surgeries using a special imaging tool called O-ARM-guided Navigation. This technique aims to reduce the chances of screws being placed incorrectly, which can be a common challenge in surgeries for conditions like spinal deformities, injuries, and degenerative changes. The trial is taking place at the University Hospital of the Federal University of Piaui in northeastern Brazil and is currently looking for participants.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have specific spine conditions, such as spinal cord injuries, degenerative disc disease, or scoliosis. However, those with certain anatomical abnormalities that would prevent the use of the navigation tool won't be able to participate. If you join this trial, you'll receive care focused on using this advanced imaging technique, which could potentially improve the outcomes of your surgery.
