ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a medication called Ketorolac (also known as Toradol) can help manage pain and reduce the need for stronger painkillers after women have their eggs retrieved during fertility treatments. The goal is to see if using this nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) can improve the experience for patients undergoing oocyte retrieval, which is an important step in in vitro fertilization (IVF).
To participate in this study, women must be 18 years or older and scheduled for an egg retrieval procedure. They should be able to understand English or have a translator available. However, this trial is not for everyone; those with allergies to Ketorolac, certain medical conditions, a high body mass index (BMI), or a history of substance abuse will not be eligible. If you choose to participate, you'll be helping researchers learn more about effective pain management after this procedure, which could benefit many women in the future.
