ClinConnect Summary
The Breakthrough Anxiety and Sleep Evaluation Using Linked Devices and Smartphone Application Onar (BASEL) trial is studying how sleep and mental health are connected, specifically looking at anxiety and depression symptoms in adults. The goal is to see how the Onar app can help gather information about people’s sleep patterns, like how long they sleep and how well they sleep, using data from wearable devices. Participants will also answer a simple questionnaire about their feelings of anxiety and depression to help researchers understand these issues better.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be an adult between 18 and 60 years old and have used the Onar app daily for at least a week before joining. Unfortunately, if you have a history of alcohol or substance abuse, you won’t be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to provide information about your sleep habits and how you feel emotionally, which will help researchers learn more about the relationship between sleep and mental health. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to shed light on important issues many people face today.
