ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two therapies, Action Observation Therapy and Mirror Therapy, to see how they can help improve the use of arms and hands in people who have had a stroke. The study aims to find out if these therapies can lead to long-lasting improvements in upper limb function after a stroke that occurred 1 to 6 months prior.
To participate in this trial, individuals need to be between the ages of 40 and 70, be recovering from a stroke that affected one side of their body, and have a specific level of motor ability. It's important that they can follow instructions and score well on a cognitive test. However, people with certain conditions, like severe depression or serious heart and lung problems, won't be eligible to join. Those who do participate can expect to engage in therapies designed to help them regain strength and coordination in their arms and hands over the course of the study.
